Big disappointment - doesn't run under Ubuntu 10.10 at all. At first, looks good, nice features, but reality starts with not finding audio files, after successful detection, a hanging sound file, random shut-downs on mouse-clicks, finally got hanging till force-quit.

The product is great. I just wish it supports more audio formats like the windows version.

Good Product under windows. Still not stable in Linux. Hot keys do not work correctly and causes the program to crash. When will they address this problem?

Had problems installing Express Scribe for Linux. In ubuntu 8.10, jambed up audio whenever I used slow speed. Required computer reboot each time. Also tried to install on Ubuntu 9.04, but it would not run at all. Maybe there are dependencies. Error messages referred to Winamp. Got it going (sort of) using Wine on Ubuntu 9.04. Works OK but key bindings only partially work.
